Chinese restaurant in Musanze, Rwanda
Food & Beverage: Rwanda has incredibly fertile soil, so the locally grown food tastes delicious. There are all levels of restaurants available at our tour destinations and lots of variety (African, Indian, Chinese etc). Restaurants are reasonably priced and you will visit some of the best.
The restaurant pictured above is in Musanze, the heart of Gorilla country in the Volcanoes National Park. The Chinese food was high quality and was approx £20 (USD25) a head for a two course meal, with non-alcoholic drinks included.
African dishes concentrate around meat, vegetables, Irish potatoes (grown locally and so moorish!) and rice. Try the barbecued meat!
Wines, spirits and beers are available throughout Rwanda at approximately western prices.
Accommodation: You will stay in excellent accommodation throughout, with all the amenities you’d expect to feel pampered.
