Visit and sit with the Gorillas at the Volcanoes National Park. For many this is the highlight of a tour of Rwanda, and so much care is taken to protect and care for these wonderful animals by the people that you will leave a changed person.
Also, a Gorilla baby naming ceremony takes place each year, usually around October which attracts visitors from all over the world to celebrate the new born gorillas, of which the people of Rwanda are incredibly proud. A wonderful festival is put on and its is one of Rwanda’s most revered celebrations.

Enjoy the BIG 5 Safari animals at the Akagera National Park which is a fully protected wildlife habitat and home to many exotic birds and animals, including lions, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, rhino, buffalo, hippo, impala, crocodile and leopards.
This unique environment is protected by park rangers, and because it sits within a relatively small park, the opportunity to see wildlife up close is unprecedented in the area.
